As during our Asia-travels, our faithful Vario, who has never let us down, will drive us through South-America. After having bought the van in 2014 from the French Railway services (sncb) we got it converted into a camper by an incredibly handy and experienced couple in the Netherlands. Our Vario brought us everywhere we wanted to go (ok it’s not a 4×4 so you make choices…) and became our home, the place where the kids had their own space, some toys, their books and a soft bed, and we could cook, wash, live and feel like home. A thorough technical maintenance and some changements to the children’s beds later (as Felix is no longer a 2year old little boy…) we feel confident that our Vario can master the South-American mountainpasses, pampa and jungle roads (if not too muddy!).
